Product Development Technician

We have a solution!  At WireTech Fabricators Inc., we offer a consistent, first shift schedule of Monday – Thursday, 6:00am – 4:00pm.  Who doesn’t like 3-day weekends?

We are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and some engineering experience to join our team as a Product Development Technician!

• The wage range for this role is $22 - $31 per hour, based on experience and/or education!

You must be wondering what the job entails.  Here’s an idea:

• Play a leading role in the development of new products, including involvement in new product reviews, complex part review, and tooling design.
• Design production processes and create prototypes as part of the new product start-up and PPAP process.
• Utilize ERP and SolidWorks systems as tools for understanding production process design, product flow, and cost drivers.
• Provide input to the efficient onboarding of new products and to the improvement of existing product processes.

• Provide training to setup staff as a part of the new product launch process, an on occasion as needed.
