Robotic Welding
MIG welding is performed in our automated robotic cells which provide enhanced weld strength and consistency while increasing throughput. It also offers a superior finish that our customers demand. These benefits make this arc welding process recommended for nearly all wireform applications.
Robotic MIG Welding
-(METAL INERT GAS – M.I.G.) welding is an automatic or semi-automatic arc welding process
-Continuous and consumable wire electrode and a shielding gas are fed through a welding gun
-Drawing callouts should be stated as a fillet weld with callout to a minimum fillet size and minimum length of the fillet
-MIG welding recommended for most wire form applications
Cross Weld
-Two metal surfaces are joined at a cross section one on top of the other
Welding Projections
-When welding any flat surface to a round surface a weld projection on the flat material is critical and recommended
-Weld projections increase the penetration and integrity of the welded joint
